Relics (2015) – installation view

Relics is a layered work that intertwines three lines of inquiry:

1.  The America Empire in decline and the shifting sands that constitutes the idea of empire  within human history.

2.  The evolutionary significance of shared information in the development of human culture. Think of all the things you know about but have never actually seen. For example, through shared information, the Statue of Liberty is one of the most iconic and recognizable objects in the world.

3.  A dialog between modernist and postmodernist ideas of colour.
