Nocturnes (1998-2014)

The short days and long nights of winter in the Canadian Rocky Mountains means that much of everyday life is conducted after dark.

These paintings attempt to capture fleeting visions and memories of the winter landscape as I scurried between various sanctuaries from the cold.
